This is one for the books.
Opened flock (www.flock.com) only to find that the pictures (posted as "profiles") were not showing up.
Here is a hint: Another word for Pictures is Images.
(in other words, you can't google a problem if you don't have the unique qualifiers!)
So, click on TOOLS, OPTIONS then CONTENT and make sure there is a check mark in front of "load images automatically"
(you might think the opposite of 'automatically' implies somewhere, there is a button that says "load images now, please" - but I haven't found said button!)
One more problem resolved.
Images (pictures) are now loaded automatically!
